What is propane gas?

Propane is pure. There’s only one gas. Propane, whose chemical formula is CH₂CH₃ and whose molecular weight is 44.10, ₃ is a compound, colorless, liquidable gas. Slightly soluble in water, soluble in ethanol, ether. It mixes with air to form an explosive mixture.

What is a propane gas sensor?

Propane sensor is mainly used for the detection of propane gas (C3H8), generally based on semiconductor or catalytic combustion principle. Propane is the main component of liquefied petroleum gas, liquefied petroleum gas can be used as fuel, because of its high calorific value, no smoke, no carbon slag, easy to operate and use, has been widely used in people’s life.

What are the uses of propane gas?

① The largest use of propane is to do liquefied petroleum gas with butane, mainly used as fuel.

② Propane is an important raw material for cracking ethylene.

③ The technology of catalytic dehydrogenation of propane to propylene has been industrialized.
